I'm Anna, the designer and creative behind Splendid Greetings. I work part-time for the government and part-time creating all the beautiful and fun pieces you see on my Facebook and Instagram feed. I am a wifey, to an amazing and very supportive husband and a Momma to two sweet boys who are my whole world. I love a good pun, a glass of wine (or a vodka sodie) and to let loose with my favourite people.
I started this little venture just over 6 years ago, while I was on maternity leave with my first son. We had gotten into a great routine and while he slept, and I found myself craving a creative outlet. My first piece was an engagement print for a close friend who had recently got engaged. It went over so well that when another friend was having her first baby, I decided to create a birth stat print for her as a gift. All of a sudden, I was being asked by friends and family to recreate these pieces for them to give as gifts. So, after a lot of discussion and encouragement from some of my favourite people, I decided to take a leap of faith and start a Facebook page. I had no idea it would turn into a full blown business that would help support my family.
Over the years, my focus has shifted from custom prints to invitations and event stationery. There is something really extraordinary about getting to create something that sets the tone for people's most special events.
While on maternity leave with my second son, I decided I wanted to share my fun and witty side with the world. So, I created a line of funny Valentine's Day cards to share with my following. They were so well received that greeting cards became a regular part of my repertoire. That, my friends, is how Splendid Greetings was born! I design, print, cut and fold each and every card myself in my little basement studio. They are made with so much love for you to gift to your favourite people.
Thank you all for the amazing support you have shown me over the years. I am so incredibly grateful to be able to do what I love each and every day. Without you, it wouldn’t be possible. ♥️
